It’s smooth and perfectly sweet, but with a kick - giving us the powerful energy we need to get through the week and stay strong and healthy! With just a few steps, make your own golden matcha latte at home.
What you’ll need:
Ceremonial grade matcha powder (Our favorite is Matchaful Hikari matcha!)
If you have a matcha whisking bowl, great! If not, any bowl will do.
Bamboo matcha whisk
1 tsp scoop
1. Fill a glass with ice and add ~ 8 oz. (1 cup) golden turmeric oat milk.
2. Prepare your matcha shot. Sift 1 tsp matcha powder directly into matcha bowl. Add 2 oz. of 180° water to bowl. Whisk quickly in a zig-zag motion until a smooth froth appears (make sure all the matcha on the bottom of the bowl has been whisked up!)
3. Pour matcha shot into the glass on top of the golden milk!
It’s up to you if you want to mix before you drink. We like sipping with a straw so we got the sweet turmeric flavor first, and then slowly the strong yet smooth matcha flavor gets mixed in.
