Every day is a good day to have pancakes… especially vegan Chocolate Oat milk pancakes! We put our own little twist on this classic breakfast staple, and not to toot our own horn, but they came out scrumptious. You HAVE to try this!
There isn’t an exact science to making pancakes, and we can appreciate that everyone enjoys them a little differently. But, even if you aren’t vegan, or you’re loyal to grandma’s secret pancake recipe, you won’t be disappointed.
In fact, these will leave both you and the kiddos craving for more!
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup Chocolate Oat milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- In a bowl, pour in the dry ingredients, then whisk.
- Next, pour in the wet ingredients, then whisk again.
- Set the stove to medium-high, and lightly grease the pan with coconut oil or vegan butter.
- Pour the pancake batter onto the pan.
- Once the pancake starts to bubble, you can flip it over and, tada - you’ve got a yummy breakfast!
This recipe made us 4 regular-sized pancakes, but feel free to play around with the measurements.
What makes our vegan chocolate milk different?
Supporting local businesses whenever we can is important for us at Nuthatch. Our Chocolate Oat milk (along with all of our other oat milks) is made with New York State grown oats. The taste is also unlike any other vegan chocolate milk you’ve ever had. It’s sweetened with maple syrup instead of refined sugar, and it’s made with no preservatives - so it’s as fresh as it gets.
Our Chocolate Oat milk is also hand-pressed and poured (with love) in our local NYC kitchen. Getting your plant based milk delivered in NYC is easy with Nuthatch. PLUS - free delivery to customers in Cobble Hill all April long. As an added bonus, you save even more by becoming a weekly delivery subscriber.
